St. Patrick's Day Celebration & Fundraiser for Congressman Pete King

AN INVITATION FOR MY FRIENDS AND SUPPORTERS

I am running for re-election to the United States Congress in 2010 because I want to continue fighting for the values and beliefs which you and I share. I particularly want to be able to continue my leadership role defending the New York City-Long Island region and our nation against Islamic terrorism.

As the only member of Congress who serves on the Homeland Security Committee and the Intelligence Committee, I am well positioned to stand up to the Obama administration and get results as I did when I confronted the administration on its mishandling of the Christmas Day bombing and its irresponsible attempt to put the 9/11 trial in New York City.

To defeat the special interests and be re-elected to Congress, I need the help and support of real people - of good Americans like you. The first major event of the 2010 campaign will be a St. Patrick's Day party on Saturday afternoon, March 13th at Mulcahy's Pub, 3232 Railroad Avenue, Wantagh from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. This fund-raising celebration, which is $50 per person and will include open bar and buffet, is being sponsored by my campaign organization as well as the firefighters, police officers and veterans who are such a major part of my coalition.

I guarantee you this event will be a great time and a very enjoyable afternoon with a lot of terrific people. It will be an outstanding way for me to get my campaign off and running.
