9:30 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. - at Citigroup Building at 53rd Street & Lexington Avenue for news conference with Mayor Bloomberg, NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly and Sen. joe Lieberman alling for $40 million in homeland security funds for radiation detectors for New York and Long Island. Obama administration put in zero for this program. I was able to get an amendment passed to get $40 million in House bill. Senate put in $10 million. Now it is being negotiated in a House-Senate conference.

11:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. - to Chuck Schumer's office at 47th Street & 3rd Avenue for news conference on the same issue.

8:45 a.m. - 8:55 a.m. - at Fox Studios for Fox & Friends show to discuss terrorist threat.

9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. - meetings with NYPD on terrorism.
