3:10 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. - meet in district office with law students and graduate students from Northern Ireland who are interning in government offices in the US.
Wednesday, August 10th
10:30 a.m. - release copies of letters to Defense Department and CIA calling for investigation of Administration providing information and access for Hollywood film on bin Laden killing. My concern is based on so much sensitive information being improperly disclosed by the Administration since the raid.
11:30 a.m. - 2:45 p.m. - phone interview with WCBS radio; WINS radio; AP; and Washington Post on the film controversy. Tape interview in office with WPIX-11.
4:00 p.m. - 4:40 p.m. - to Village Video in West Babylon for live interview with CNN & then taped interview with John King on Hollywood film (Watch here)
4:45 p.m. - 4:55 p.m. - outside Village Video tape interviews with WCBS-TV on Hollywood film & Michele Bachman.
5:20 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. - phone interview from home with Steve Malzberg (WABC radio) on film.
6:10 p.m. - 7:45 p.m. - to Bridgeview Yacht Club in Island Park for Denise Ford fundraiser. Excellent County Legislator draws big crowd.
Thursday, August 11th
7:15 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. - to 30 Rockefeller Plaza in Manhattan for live interview on Morning Joe (MSNBC). Discuss Rick Perry's potential candidacy. (Watch here)
9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. - attend Gov. Hugh Carey's funeral at St. Patrick's Cathedral. Many notables attend including Govs. Cuomo, Pataki and Cuomo; Mayors Bloomberg, Giuliani, Dinkins & Koch. Terrific tribute to a great Governor.
12:15 p.m. - 1:15 p.m. - to Smith & Wollensky's restaurant for lunch with Dennis Smith. Gives me copy of his latest, just published book "A Decade of Hope." Magnificent book on 9/11. Dennis is an old friend who interviewed me for a chapter in the book. I urge everyone to read it.
Friday, August 12th
3:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. - to TV55 in Melville to tape FOCUS.
4:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. - to FBI offices in Melville re: homeland security issues.
7:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. - with Rosemary to dinner with Larry & Helen Elovich at Dario's in Rockville Centre. As always, terrific conversation.
Saturday, August 13th
11:30 a.m. - 12:50 p.m. - to Farmingdale Baseball 9/11 Memorial Tournament at Allen Field. Large turnout. Great event to commemorate 9/11.
5:15 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. - with Rosemary to see "The Guard" in Manhasset theatre. Excellent film.
Sunday, August 14th
8:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. - boxing session with Chris Cardona in Bellmore. Massive rain & flooding.
3:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. - with Rosemary to "Jersey Boys" in Manhattan. Great entertainment.
Monday, August 15th
11:10 a.m. - 11:40 a.m. - news conference with Steve Israel in Hauppauge re: 9/11 oral history project.
