11:20 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. - tape interview with Marcia Kramer (WCBS-TV) on new head of Al Qaeda terror operations being a former US resident. (see video here)
12:00 noon - 1:30 p.m. - lunch with NCPD Commissioner Larry Mulvey and Dep. Commissioner Bill Flanagan at City Cellar restaurant in Westbury. Focus on plans for training and counterterrorism center. Solid idea. Also the restaurant was great.
6:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. - Rosemary and I to Elisa's restaurant in North Bellmore for dinner with friends from high school days at Brooklyn Prep. Tom Dewey, Frank Hennessy, Charlie Kerge and Jimmy Reagan. Terrific evening. Lots of good talk. Reminder of when life was simpler.

8:45 a.m. - 8:55 a.m. - live on Fox & Friends from Village Video on WTC Mosque and 9/11 healthcare. NYS Democratic Committeeman Robert ZImmerman and I put out a bipartisan statement calling for a simple majority vote. (see full statement here)
