7:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. - boxing in Bellmore with Chris Cardona.
Tuesday, August 24th
9:30 a.m. - 10:40 a.m. - breakfast with Nassau GOP Chairman Joe Mondello at Post Avenue Cafe in Westbury. Discussed upcoming election. Outlook is very positive.
11:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. - meet with Dan Conklin, high school teacher writing book on gov't and politics.
12:15 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. - meet with Rolling Thunder officials to discuss strategy for my legislation (H. Res. 111) to set up committee to investiagte POws & MIAs.
1:00 p.m. - 1:40 p.m. - meet with Turkish-American leaders. Productive conversation and dialogue.
2:15 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. - meet with Shanahan family from Wantagh. They lost two infant children to Alpers Disease - - a rare but always fatal genetic desease. They are attempting to start a foundation to combat this disease. Very courageous, articulate parents. No anger. Very dedicated.
7:10 p.m. - 8:20 p.m. - attend fund raiser for NYS Assembly GOP candidate Rob Geminino at Page One restaurant in Glen Cove. Marine, Iraq war veteran, top shelf candidate. Nice turnout.
Wednesday, August 25th
7:40 a.m. - 7:50 a.m. - phone interview with former NYPD officer Ed Norris on Baltimore's WFAN (1300AM) radio show to discuss WTC mosque.
