Pete King's Thoughts & Whereabouts: 7/29

- To Rayburn House Office Building for the Judiciary Committee's vote on providing health care for 9/11 rescue workers who have developed rare cancers traceable to the toxins at Ground Zero. These cancers and other respiratory illnesses developed years after 9/11 and there is no money available for them. I'm not on the Committee but am a co-sponsor of the 9/11 legislation and went to the committee room to show support and to help persuade some Congressmembers to vote for it. Passed 22-9. Great day for 9/11 first responders.
