2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. - Delta Shuttle from LaGuardia to DC.

6:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. - Votes on House floor.

Tuesday, July 19th
9:00 a.m. - 9:40 a.m. - GOP Conference in HC-5 on debt ceiling.

2:05 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. - Votes on House floor.

2:35 p.m. - 2:45 p.m. - Tape interview with Roll Call TV for 9/11 remembrance.

3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. - Chairman's meeting with Majority Leader in Capitol (H-326) on debt ceiling.

4:10 p.m. - 5:05 p.m. - Intelligence Committee briefing in HVC-304 on Afghanistan.

7:15 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. - To 400 N. Capitol to tape interview with WNBC-TV on communication systems for police and firefighters.

8:00 p.m. - 8:20 p.m. - To House floor for votes.

Wednesday, July 20th
5:30 p.m. - 6:50 p.m. - GOP reception hosted by Majority Leader Cantor at Cava Messe Grill on 8th Street, SE. Eric was at White House for debt ceiling talks and had not made it to the reception by the time I left.

Thursday, July 21st
12:55 p.m. - 1:15 p.m. - Votes on House floor.

1:30 p.m. - 2:15 p.m. - Meet with Rolling Thunder regarding POW-MIA legislation.

2:45 p.m. - 3:15 p.m. - To House floor for votes.

6:00 p.m. - 7:15 p.m. - Votes on House floor.

8:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. - Dinner with Congressman Michael Grimm (NY) at Dubliner restaurant.

Friday, July 22nd
12:30 p.m. - 1:45 p.m. - Delta Shuttle to LaGuardia.

Sunday, July 24th
4:30 p.m. - 5:45 p.m. - Conference call with Speaker Boehner on debt ceiling. Tough negotiations ahead.

7:00 p.m. - 10:45 p.m. - to premiere of "The Shoemaker" starring Danny Aiello at Acorn Theatre (49th & 9th). Very moving play about 9/11 and the Holocaust. Danny is an old friend and I was honored to be at the premiere of such an outstanding play.
