9:30 a.m. - 12 noon
Commissioner Ray Kelly invited Rep. Yvette Clark and me to an anti-terror meeting with hundreds of New York business people to discuss our successful attempt to get $40 million restored for Secure the Cities program. Had a great conversation with Ray beforehand and stuck around to talk with a number of NYPD officials and business people afterward.

Saturday - July 4
Wantagh & Massapequa Park, N.Y.
9:30 a.m. - 12:30 a.m.
To July 4th parade in Wantagh and Massapequa Park. Terrific crowds at both parades. Lots of enthusiasm and positive comments. Strong support for our troops.

Sunday - July 5
Wantagh American Legion Hall
9:45 a.m. - 10:20 a.m.
To American Legion to do YouTube video denouncing media for giving so much coverage to Michael Jackson instead of military, cops and firefighters.
