7:00-10:00 PM to Gracie Mansion, Manhattan with Rosemary for dinner hosted by Mayor Bloomberg for the for the N.Y. Congressional delegation. About 12 members were there along with several of Bloomberg’s top commissioners including Ray Kelly. Very enjoyable evening.

10:30 AM-1:00 PM - speech at Seaford High School graduation ceremony held at Nassau Community College.

4:05-4:10 PM- to village Video for Fox News on McChrystal-Petraeus

9:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m.- To Coast Guard station at Eaton's Neck to discuss homeland security with local, state and federal officials. Also to congratulate Capt. Ronan on his retirement from Coast Guard and give best wishes to his successor Capt. Vevdovich.

1:00-2:00 p.m. - US Air Shuttle from LaGuardia to Washington, DC

8:00-8:30 a.m. – Guest speaker at National Press Club at breakfast meeting sponsored by Intraguard, an organization of 32,000 members from the private sector who work with the FBI to combat terrorism.

9:00-9:45 a.m. - Weekly GOP Conference at Capital Hill Club.

10:30-10:50 a.m. – Meet in office with Dan Hayden from the Seaford Middle School. He is in Washington for the week as part of a House Fellows program on legislative procedure.

10:55-11:15 a.m. - Votes on House floor

11:20-11:40 a.m. – To CVC Auditorium to speak at national ACT! For America meeting. Very strong anti-terrorism organization.

Noon-1:00 p.m. - Fundraiser Lunch

1:10-1:20 p.m. – Act! for America presents me with National Security Patriot Award

3:00-3:30 p.m. – Votes on House Floor

3:30-3:45 p.m. – Meet in Rayburn Room in Capitol with reps of NYU Medical Center
