Friday, June 24, 2011
3:00 p.m. - 5:15 p.m. - Board US Air Shuttle to LaGuardia and sit on runway at Reagan Airport until flight is cancelled because of bad weather in New York.

7:00 p.m. - 9:50 p.m. - AMTRAK train from Union Station in Washington, D.C. to Penn Station in New York.

10:00 p.m. - 11:05 p.m. - Penn Station to home.

Saturday, June 25th
7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. - to Irish Night at Brady Park in Massapequa Park. Large friendly crowd.

Sunday, June 26th
8:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. - boxing in gym with Chris Cardona in Bellmore.

7:35 p.m. - 10:05 p.m. - with Rosemary to dinner hosted by Mayor Bloomberg (25 E. 78th Street, Manhattan) for Speaker John Boehner and other House GOP leaders. Great evening.

Monday, June 27th
8:00 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. - fund raiser in lower Manhattan.

7:30 p.m. - 10:35 p.m. - Rosemary and I to Seaford 9/11 Memorial Dinner at Woodbury Country Club honoring Seaford High School graduates who died on 9/11. Largest crowd ever.

Tuesday, June 28th
10:15 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. - meet in Massapequa Park District Office with Walter Barton of Long Island Merged Branch 6000, National Association of Letter Carriers.

12:05 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. - meet with Bangladesh American leaders.

3:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. - meet with postal supervisors.

Wednesday, June 29th
10:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. - interviewed outside district office by WPIX-11 for July 4th show on mu legislation with John McCain seeking a pardon for Jack Johnson. Will be shown on July 4th at 10:00 p.m.

10:40 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. - phone call from John Brennan, the President's National Security Advisor on Terrorism, telling me the White House will disclose its new National Strategy for Counter Terrorism later today. Gave me unclassified details. Will meet next week to discuss classified details in secure setting.
