Wednesday, May 4th
8:00 a.m. - 9:45 p.m. - Intelligence Committee briefing led by Leon Panetta on bin Laden killing. Amazingly heroic operation by SEALS.
10:00 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. - Homeland Security Committee hearing on Mass Transit Security.
1:45 p.m. - 2:15 p.m. - votes on House floor.
2:25 p.m. - 2:50 p.m. - votes in Financial Services Committee.
3:05 p.m. - 3:10 p.m. - tape CNN interview with Wolf Blitzer in Cannon rotunda.
4:00 p.m. - 5:20 p.m. - votes on House floor.
7:30 p.m. - 9:05 p.m. - Delta Shuttle to LaGuardia.
Thursday, May 5th
11:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. - at Ground Zero for commemoration. President Obama does an excellent job. I spoke with Rudy Giuliani. Great to see him there.
3:10 p.m. - 3:20 p.m. - tape interview with Chris Matthews (Hardball) from 140 Washington Street overlooking Ground Zero.
4:05 p.m. - 4:15 p.m. - tape interview with WNBC-TV from corner of Fulton & Church on potential transit attack for 6pm news.
4:25 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. - to St. Francis Xavier Church on W. 16th Street for Brooklyn Prep 50th Reunion. (Do interview outside with Jodi Applegate (WPIX-11).
7:10 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. - reunion dinner at W. 18th Street. Interview outside with Fox 5, Channel 2, Channel 7 and Channel 11 on planned transit attack. Reunion itself was great.
Friday, May 6th
8:15 a.m. - 8:20 a.m. - live interview from district office with Fox 5 on terror threats.
8:25 - 8:30 a.m. - tape interview with Fox 5 on al Qaeda's statement admitting bin Laden's death.
