6:05 p.m. - 6:40 p.m. - to House floor for votes.
7:05 p.m. - 10:05 p.m. - dinner at Bobby Van's with DHS Sec. Napolitano.
Thursday, May 12th
8:10 a.m. - 8:45 a.m. - host fundraiser for Rep. Hanna.
10:10 a.m. - 10:20 a.m. - phone conversation with Howard Schmidt, White House cyber-security coordinator on proposed legislation.
10:35 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. - to 2264 Rayburn to meet Rep. Robert Aderholt (R-Alabama) who is Chairman of the Homeland Security Appropriations Sub-Committee. The numbers have been cut for vital grant funds. Rep. Aderholt did the best he could with the money available to him. But NY is really hurt by these cuts.

1:00 p.m. - 1:20 p.m. - meet in 339 Cannon with Internet Security Alliance board.

Tuesday, May 17th
8:30 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. - to Morrelly homeland security center in Bethpage. Speak to business leaders and tour facility.
11:00 a.m. - 11:35 a.m. - meet with 9/11 father Lee Ielpi to discuss possible legislation encouraging more student interest in 9/11.
7:00 p.m. - 9:50 p.m. - to Gracie Mansion with Rosemary for dinner hosted by Mayor Bloomberg for N.Y. Congressional delegation. Sat at table with Mayor Bloomberg and NYPD Commissioner Kelly. Great evening.
Wednesday, May 18th
8:00 a.m. - 9:20 a.m. - to Metropolitan Club in Manhattan for breakfast hosted by Bob Strang with NY business execs. Talk on homeland security. Terrific turnout.
10:15 a.m. - 10:25 a.m. - at Fox studios for live appearance with Bill Hemmer on FNC. Discuss power struggle in Al Qaeda.
Last evening at a Nassau GOP reception, County Leader Joe Mondello announced he would support me as a favorite son for President.
From 10:30 a.m. on I have been doing media interviews on the favorite son candidacy with WCBS_AM, WINS, AP, Channel 12, Politico, The Hill, Fox & CNN.

6:40 a.m. - 6:50 a.m. - phone interview from home with John Gambling (WOR Radio) on Presidential race.
10:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. - meet in district office with members of the Amateur Radio Relay League (ham radio operations) regarding D Block legislation. Very positive meeting.
11:10 a.m. - 11:40 a.m. - meet in office with Summit Security. Video interview on homeland security issues.
12:05 p.m. - 12:35 p.m. - meet with Jim Tobin, Merchant Marine Academy Alumni Director.
2:10 p.m. - 2:15 p.m. - tape interview with Channel 12 on homeland security funds.
2:35 p.m. - 2:45 p.m. - phone interview with Lou Dobbs (WOR Radio) on bin Laden hearing.
6:10 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. - with Rosemary to the Water Club in Manhattan for ceremony re-naming 59th Street Bridge to the Ed Koch Bridge. Great evening. Ed Koch, Mike Bloomberg, Archbishop Dolan and David Dinkins were among the hundreds in attendance.
