Rumors all evening about whether there is a deal. Consensus is that it's very close.

9:45 p.m. - 10:55 p.m. - GOP Conference in HC-5 (Capitol) with John Boehner. Begins meeting by saying there is still no deal but thinks we are almost there - - $39 billion in cuts, guaranteed votes in Senate on Planned Parenthood & repeal of Obamacare. These are the largest cuts since WWII and the budget will be $79 billion less than the Obama budget would have been. At about 10:30 p.m. John announced there is a deal. GOP members overwhelmingly stand with Boehner.

Saturday, April 10th
12:20 a.m. - vote on House floor to keep gov't open for seven days to allow time to finalize the details of the deal.

Terrific leadership by John Boehner.

10:00 a.m. - 10:50 a.m. - US Air Shuttle to La Guardia.
