11:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. - At WTC Ground Zero site speaking ar rally demanding that the Towers be constructed without any more delay. Great turnout, perfect weather. Run by Building Trades Union.

2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. - US Air Shuttle from LaGuardia to Reagan.

3:15 p.m. - 3:40 p.m. - Meet in 339 Cannon with Frank Leotta of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Discussed the terrific progress being made in treating this disease.

4:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. - Meet in office with Jim McMahon, the Deputy Executive Director of the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) and former NYS Director of Homeland Security. Good conversation and cooperation on terrorism. Jim is a terrific guy.

7:15 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. - Dinner with Politico reporters (Mullins & Gavin) at Dubliner.

Wednesday, March 10th
8:20 a.m. - 8:25 a.m. - Interview on Fox & Friends at Fox D.C. studio (400 N. Capitol St.) on arrest of "Jihad Jane." American born, female, muslim convert. Apparently involved with a murder plot of Swedish cartoonist in Ireland.

9:05 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. - Weekly GOP Conference meeting in 345 Cannon. Total emphasis on healthcare.
