10:00 a.m. - 10:35 a.m. - in Massapequa with Nassau P.D. counterterrorism units for monthly meeting. Also attending were NCPD, MTA Police, FDNY and TSA. As always informative.
3:15 p.m. - 3:20 p.m. - tape Channel 12 interview on Libya. (Watch here)
4:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. - to Ossining, NY to speak at FDNY leadership program at the GE Conference Center. Great event.
Wednesday, March 23rd
7:35 a.m. - 7:50 a.m. - phone radio interview from home with Bill Bennett on Libya and radicalization hearing.
9:40 a.m. - 9:50 a.m. - phone radio interview with John Gambling on Libya (WOR radio).
Thursday, March 24th
8:20 a.m. - 9:50 a.m. - speak to Long Island Realtors (LIREG) at Old Westbury Country Club. Steve Israel and I give update from Congress. I focus on Libya and radicalization. Good turnout. Civilized discussion.
2:05 p.m. - 2:25 p.m. - meet with leaders of Island Harvest. Do great work fighting hunger on Long Island.
6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. - attend Marine Corps. Law Enforcement Dinner at Waldolf Astoria in Manhattan with Rosemary.
10:20 p.m. - 11:15 p.m. - to NCPD Commissioner Larry Mulvey's retirement dinner at Okeha Castle. Arrive late but get to talk with Larry and his family. He did an outstanding job as Commissioner.
Friday, March 25th
8:10 a.m. - 8:20 a.m. - phone interview from office with Boomer & Carton (WFAN radio & MSG TV) on Madoff and Fred Wilpon lawsuit. (Listen here)
9:00 a.m. - 10:05 a.m. - to Lindencrest Diner in Lindenhurst for FDNY retirees breakfast.
