9:05 a.m. - 10:35 a.m. - Attend DHS event at Georgetown University featuring Janet Napolitano, Mike Chertoff and Tom Ridge.
12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. - Meeting at Intelligence Committee with UK Intelligence & Security Committee. Very informative.
2:05 p.m. - 2:15 p.m. - Votes on House floor.
2:40 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. - To House Administration Committee (1301 Longworth) to testify on CHS budget. Went well.
3:40 p.m. - 4:15 p.m. - To House floor. Vote to extend CR for 2 weeks with $4 billion in cuts. (Passes 335-91).
7:00 p.m. - 9:45 p.m. - To fundraiser at Verizon center for Islanders-Capitals game. Good turnout for event. Well played game on the ice. Islanders had 1-0 lead until last 47 seconds of regualtion. Caps win 2-1 in overtime.
Thursday, March 3rd
9:30 a.m. - 11:40 a.m. - Homeland Security budget hearing with Secretary Napolitano in 311 Cannon.
1:15 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. - votes on House floor.
2:15 p.m. - 2:50 p.m. - votes in Financial Services Committee.
3:00 p.m. - 3:10 p.m. - tape Fox News from Cannon rotunda with Caterine Herridge on killing of U.S. military in Germany. (Watch here)
5:30 p.m. - 6:55 p.m. - Delta Shuttle to LaGuardia.
Friday, March 4th
7:00 p.m. - 7:10 p.m. - phone call from Denis McDonough the President's Deputy National Security Advisor telling me he will be giving a major speech on radicalization on Sunday afternoon in Sterling, Virginia. He said the administration welcomed Congressional interest.
10:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. - watch "Blue Bloods" on WCBS-TV. Great show as laways. Terrific escape.
Saturday, March 5th
12:45 p.m. - 2:20 p.m. - to Rockaway for St. Patrick's Day Parade. March with Mayor Bloomberg.
