7:10 a.m. - 7:25 a.m. - phone interview from home with John Gambling (WOR Radio) on Muslim radicalization hearings and Egypt.
12:00 p.m. - 1:50 p.m. - to Riverhead to speak at Suffolk GOP Chairman's Club at Hotel Indigo. Great crowd. Robert McBride is President of the Club. John Jay LaValle, the Suffolk GOP leader, is very upbeat about this election. I spoke on my agenda as Homeland Chairman.
Friday, February 4th
4:00 p.m. - 4:05 p.m. - called Nassau Police Commissioner Lawrence Mulvey to wish him good luck on his retirement. Larry did an oustanding job.
5:05 p.m. - 5:20 p.m. - phone interview from home with Mark Simone filling in for Sean Hannity (WABC radio). Discuss upcoming hearings. Mark is always a great guy.
Saturday, February 5th
8:00 p.m. - 10:45 p.m. - to dinner with Rosemary at Chadwick's in Rockville Centre with Tom Downy, Frank Hennessy and their wives. We went to Brooklyn Prep together many years ago. Terrific evening.
Sunday, February 6th
6:30 p.m. - 10:45 p.m. - watch Super Bowl with Rosemary. Good game.
Monday, February 7th
11:00 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. - to D'Addario's factory in Farmingdale to receive National Association of Manufacturers' award. D'Addario's is a very successful firm manufacturing high-quality musical equipment.
Numerous media interviews during day on radicalization hearings.
