1:00 p.m. - 4:45 p.m. - Take Homeland Security Committee members to National Counter Terrorism Center (NCTC) for briefing by Director Mike Leiter. Very informative.
5:00 p.m. - 6:15 p.m. - fundraiser at Capitol Hill Club. Good turnout.
6:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. - Votes on House floor.

8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. - GOP Homeland Security Committee meeting with Sec. Napolitano.
9:15 a.m. - 9:50 a.m. - GOP Conference in HC-5.
10:15 a.m. - 10:20 a.m. - Tape phone interview with Channel 12 on State of the Union.
10:50 a.m. - 10:55 a.m. - With Anthony Weiner on MSNBC from Cannon Rotunda.
11:30 a.m. - 11:40 a.m. - Tape Katie Couric CBS Evening News with Rep. Weiner from Cannon Rotunda.
1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. - Meet with Walid Phares, expert on Islamic terrorism.
1:40 p.m. - 1:45 p.m. - Tape WABC-TV interview in 311 Cannon with Dave Evans.
2:00 p.m. - 2:20 p.m. - To House floor for votes.
3:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. - Tape interview with Catherine Herridge (Fox News) on radicalization hearings.
4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. - Meet with Jeanne Meserve (CNN) to discuss Homeland Security Committee.
5:15 p.m. - 6:15 p.m. - Attend reception celebrating 9/11 healthcare bill in 311 Cannon.
8:00 p.m. - 10:15 p.m. - Attend State of the Union in House. Good delivery. Short on specifics. Strongly disagree with President on healthcare and illegal immigration amnesty.

10:00 a.m. - 10:40 a.m. - Organization meeting of Homeland Security Committee. No problems. Adopt rates and procedures.
10:45 a.m. - 11:10 a.m. - To Rayburn Building for Financial Services hearing.
11:20 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. - House floor for votes.
