9:00 a.m. - 10:05 a.m. - US Air Shuttle from LaGuardia to Reagan Airport in D.C.
10:15 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. - drive to Baltimore for Republican retreat.
11:25 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. - attend sessions throughout day. Speak briefly with Gov. Haley Barbour after his speech at lunch. Rep. Buck McKeon of California and I conduct session on national security and homeland security. Good turnout. Very involved group.
6:35 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. - drive from Baltimore to Reagan.
8:10 p.m. - 9:05 p.m. - US Air Shuttle from Washington to LaGuardia.
Sunday, January 16th
8:00 a.m. - 8:40 a.m. - workout at Bellmore Kick Boxing gym. First time since I fractured my toe in early December. Just lifted weights. No boxing. But it was good to be back.
11:35 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. - to West Babylon for live remote interview with Jamie Colby (Fox News) on Obama administration's foreign policy coming close to Bush's.
12:15 p.m. - 1:15 p.m. - to Levittown (3345 Hempstead Tpke.) to attend opening of Hurricane Grill & Wings. Good food and atmosphere. Great that new local business has started.
4:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. - watch Jets beat Patriots 28-21. Terrific game.
Monday, January 17th
2:45 p.m. - 3:45 p.m. - to Nassau Police facility to see BSO (special ops) gear & equipment. Very impressive.
