3:00 p.m. - 3:05 p.m. - President Obama calls me at home. Very cordial conversation. He thanks me for praising Administration on response to Yemen and congratulates me on Homeland Security Chairmanship. I told him I believed that many aspects of counterterrorism should be bi-partisan. (Read Here)
7:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. - private dinner with family and staff at Pomodorino in Seaford.
Thursday, November 4th
10:45 a.m. - 10:55 p.m. - Fox News (America's Newsroom) live from Village Video on President's phone call. (Watch here)
11:58 a.m. - 12:05 p.m. - telephone call from Secretary Napolitano. Discuss homeland security issues.
2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. - to Intrepid Museum in Manhattan for Yitzhak Rabin Memorial sponsored by President Clinton foundation. (15th anniversary of Rabin's funeral which I attended with Pres. Clinton.) After the ceremony spoke privately with Pres. Clinton.
Friday, November 5th
1:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. – to WABC-TV studio on West 67th Street Manhattan to tape Eyewitness News Conference with Diana Williams for Sunday. Discuss upcoming Congressional agenda and homeland security. (Watch here and here)
Saturday, November 6th
4:00 p.m. – 4:45 p.m. - attend grand opening of Joel’s motorcycle shop in Oyster Bay, 20th Century Cycles. Great guy to talk with. Wonderful event. County Executive Ed Mangano was also there. (Watch here)
8:15 p.m. - 9:15 p.m. - received Person of the Year award from Associated Licensed Detectives of New York State (ALDONYS) at Sheraton New York Hotel. Robert Tucker ran the event – many retired NYPD and friends attend, including Mike O’Neil and Phil Rogan. Terrific evening.
Sunday, November 7th
8:35 a.m. – 8:50 a.m. – phone interview from home with Religion on the Line (WABC radio)
4:00 p.m. – 7:05 p.m. – Kickboxing matches at Glo nightclub promoted by Chris Cardona, my boxing trainer who operates Bellmore Kickboxing Academy. Main event featured World Champion Bobby Campbell who Chris trains. Bobby won a terrific fight. Crowd was full capacity and loud. Attended with Mike O’Neil retired NYPD Counterterrorism Inspector.
