7:00 p.m. - 7:25 p.m. - speak at Bethpage GOP meeting in American Legion Hall. Ed Mangano is Executive Leader. Very enthusiastic crowd.
7:35 p.m. - 7:50 p.m. - to Massapequa Coast Little League dinner in Stuart Manor catering hall. Very large crowd. Last thing kids and parents wanted was a politician speech. Very friendly though.
8:10 p.m. - 9:15 p.m. - Oyster Bay GOP election eve rally. Good crowd. Large statue of Theodore Roosevelt outside the campaign hqs. The Executive Leader TD Galasso had his troops ready.
Tuesday, November 2nd
7:05 a.m. - 7:15 a.m. - election day breakfast at Seaford Palace Diner for Seaford and Massapequa South GOP clubs. Great turnout and excitement.
7:30 a.m. - 8:10 a.m. - election day breakfast at Domenico's restaurant in Levittown for Levittown West, Levittown North and Levittown South GOP clubs. Joe Mondello ran the event. Again, good turnout and anthusiasm.
8:35 a.m. - 8:50 a.m. - vote at Seaford Manor elementary school.
9:00 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. - breakfast at Paddy's Loft for Massapequa GOP. As always, Pete Schmitt in great form.
11:15 a.m. - 11:20 a.m. - call from Mitt Romney wishing me luck. Very friendly conversation.
6:00 p.m. - 6:20 p.m. - tape WPIX-11 interview at home for 10pm news on 2010 elections.
9:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. - to my campaign headquarters in North Massapequa. Large overflow crowd. Very enthusiastic.
10:45 p.m. - 1:10 a.m. - GOP headquarters in Westbury. Big victory was Jack Martins for State Senate. Fran Becker ran very close race in 4th C.D.
Wednesday, November 3rd
7:40 a.m. - 7:50 a.m. - phone interview from home with John Gambling (WOR Radio). (Listen here)
9:40 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. - talk with Rep. Kevin McCarthy who is running for Majority Whip. I gladly gave Kevin my full endorsement. He did a great job in the campaign.
1:15 p.m. - 1:20 p.m. - phone call from Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers. Endorse her for reelection as Vice-Chair of GOP Conference.
10:15 a.m. - 10:20 a.m. - tape interview in office with WCBS radio.
12:30 p.m. - 12:40 p.m. - tape interview with WABC-TV for tonight's news.
