3:30 p.m. - 7:15 p.m. - watch Notre Dame-USC on television. ND makes great comeback in 4th quarter from being 20 points down. Stopped at USC three yard line when time runs out. Since I still haven't recovered from ND's last minute loses to USC in 1964, 1978, 1982 and 2005, I expect to be in depression for quite a while from this one.

8:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. - to Hauppague for Railroad Signalmen dinner. Union head Chris Natale is a great guy. Good response from crowd.

Sunday, October18
8:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. - to Bellmore for boxing session with Chris Cardona.

9:45 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. - at Woodbury Jewish Center to discuss national and international issues. Very interested audience.

11:45 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. - to Seaford Knights of Columbus Hall for Seaford GOP campaign brunch. Looking good for Ed Mangano.

Monday, October 19th
10:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. - to Brooklyn for intelligence briefing.
